Information and updates on COVID-19:
May 31, 2020
The Idaho AP Summer Institute organizers are following the developments surrounding the COVID-19 situation in the US. As part of “Rebound Idaho,” staged reopening of business has reassured us that continuation with the institute in a face-to-face format will still be viable. After surveying previously registered participants we have determined that this would still be the preferred format.
As the situation evolves, we will be meeting often to review what steps we will need to take, and we will post regular updates with additional information. We encourage all APSI participants to consult their local or state Departments of Public Health for guidance about travel and precautionary measures related to their local area.
We are focused on doing what is best for our participants, our consultants, and the community as a whole.
The Institute this year will be a little different than last year. Enhanced cleaning protocols will be used, and steps will be taken to provide social distancing for participants. Hand sanitizer will be available in every room, participants should wash their hands regularly, and are strongly advised to wear masks whenever possible. Food and drink will not be self-serve and will be distributed by staff.
