Erin Kayser teaches at Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco, CA. For over 20 years, she has taught AP United States Government and Politics, with a particular focus on social justice and equity.
As a scoring leader and reader for the College Board, both virtually and in person, Erin has used those experiences to inform her classroom instruction. Her classroom instruction includes lectures, seminar discussions, group simulations, and student presentations. This diversity of instructional strategies has produced high passage rates (well above the national average) and built the skills students can use at the university level. Most importantly, Erin strives to instill in her students an understanding of the importance of meaningful civic engagement
