Aaron’s teaching career has spanned three countries on two continents over twenty-five years and has included students from five to fifty-five years old. He has spent the last twenty years teaching AP courses at Sentinel Secondary School in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Aaron has been an AP Seminar scoring leader at the annual AP Reading since the course’s inception—having most recently served as Question Leader for the Individual Written Argument. He has facilitated AP workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
As a College Board-endorsed consultant in both AP English Literature and Composition as well as AP Seminar, Aaron savors conversations with colleagues that explore ways to design engaging, creative, and rigorous learning experiences for students; as a consultant who works with teachers from around the world, Aaron enjoys the challenge of recognizing how course creation and implementation must accurately reflect its context. Aaron brings experience and zeal to each AP workshop, providing participants with ideas and resources that will positively impact learning in their classrooms.
