Luke has a B.S. in Social Sciences and a M.A. degree in Education from Washington State University – Vancouver. He has maintained his National Board Certification since 2010. Luke is passionate about alignment, essays, and helping students reach their maximum potential by connecting their lives to the content taught in the classroom. As you can tell, Luke loves teaching AP World History and looks forward to working with you and sharing experiences. Prior to the APSI he will be sending a survey to all participants and the results will help him adjust the course to the needs of the teachers. Luke uses a practical approach to professional development to ensure all teachers have the information about the AP course structure, curriculum, and exam. This helps teachers develop their own course with an emphasis on creating pathways for student success.
